The Chamber’s advocacy team works tirelessly to inform the community and our members about current issues, give access to elected leaders in our community and advocate for our communities - all so the collective voice of businesses are heard. Our team advocates at the local, county and state levels and takes a proactive and collaborative approach to tackling our communities greatest challenges.

How We Inform.

Truth is, whether directly or indirectly, decisions that are made at the local, county and state levels all have an impact on you. Each week during session we provide our members with Statehouse updates on bills around our legislative priorities. We also provide our members with updates on projects and initiatives that we support at the local level. Finally, we are excited to welcome The Advocate, a new blog that gives important updates on the work we do each and every day for our members.

How We Give Access.

Providing our members with access to the region’s political and influential leaders. We work hard to develop relationships throughout our region, and beyond, to ensure we are giving our members the most up-to-date and accurate information. We provide programming to connect our local, regional, and state officials to hear straight from the business community.
